Coraline's food at 9 months old

-Why I make Coraline's food?:

Making my baby's food was very important to me when starting solids. After reading the food label on baby foods it made me mad. Why does a baby need sugar and salt in there food? I don't want my child to grow up wanting nothing but sugary and salty foods, and never eat her healthy foods like vegetables. Right nutrition is important for your child to grow up healthy, happy and active! I'll never give my baby Gerber baby food or anything high in sodium or sugars. I started solids early at about 5 months because she was already sitting up on her own at 4 month old. I just felt like she was ready. So here and there not everyday I would feed her organic avocado and breast milk. Best first food for baby's! When she turned 6 months I feed her solids two times a day. 

Before making my baby food I always make sure my counter top is sanatized

And I wash the fruits and veggies. I use Doterra lemon and OnGuard as a veggie cleaning spray. 

To cook my baby's food I use the Beaba cook pro.

Coraline's favorite is butternut squash, kale, carrots and chickpeas. Coraline is not a fan of fruit. So most of the time I have to sneak it in her food. . . like avocado and bananas. 

When steaming her food I use this water from Whole Foods . It is 9$ for the container and 75 cents to fill it up each visit . This water has a very clean taste.

These are currently Coraline's favorite snacks.  

 They are both organic and have zero or very low sugars. 

I don't always have the time to make her food. So on the go these are some great products.

Baby Bath Time Favorites

When I shampoo my baby's hair I love to use the scrub brush you get at the 

hospital. Next time I have a baby I'm

going to grab a few. Lol

Favorite bath towl! Super thick keeps 

baby nice and warm. I got this at target.

After bath I use Johnson's baby bedtime lotion. Because it smells amazing! If you would like to go for a more organic way 

then I would use coconut oil and one 

drop of lavender essentail oil :)

SheaMoisture's Raw Shea, Chamomile & Argan Oil Baby Head-To-Toe Ointment is a petrolatum-free ointment made to calm and protect baby's raw irritated delicate skin. Perfect for soothing symptoms of diaper rash. Use as needed. 

I like this for any really dry parts of her 

skin like behind her ears.

Last thing I do is use Johnson's baby 

Powder calming lavender. Again it smells 

amazing. I put this in her diaper before 

bed time so her diaper stays fresh all 

night long.
